JAKE HUMPHREY ON THE WEEKEND'S SPORT
I've got a cracking weekend of sport to look forward.

On Saturday I'm presenting coverage of Derby v Queens Park Rangers, live on BBC Two.

The Championship is my base of knowledge over the past years due to me being a Norwich fan.

It is such a tough and tight league. The quality of the Premier League is filtering down and there are so many teams who could get promoted.

With their recent run of form QPR are definitely one of them.

They have had their internal struggles in recent years, but now they have started to turn things around and I'm impressed with what manager Jim Magilton has done.

Nigel Clough and Derby County are a big draw and an attractive proposition for anyone - players want to go and play for them.

There is no doubt he is a good manager, but he will need time to stamp his authority on the club.

Then on Sunday I am at Wembley for the NFL match as the New England Patriots take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Patriots have won three Super Bowls in the last seven years and in Tom Brady, they have a player who is a cut above the rest of the quarterbacks in the NFL.

He is what I call a 'mega player', someone who is a superstar and he is the greatest of his generation, if not all time.

Last week they racked up 59 points in beating the Tennessee Titans and if the rain stays away on Sunday they could run riot again. Brady could be about to show the UK why American football is so exciting.

The Bucs have a new coach, but they have struggled in recent years and these days it is hard to turn round constant decline. It's going to be very tough for them.

Have a good weekend,

Jake
